Plamen is currently a research assistant in the lab. His background is in signal processing, while his current focus is on image processing and modelling. His research interests include image segmentation, automatic image processing, computational modelling and machine learning. He works on the ventricular team, an interdisciplinary group of engineers, scientists, and clinicians whose current goal is to investigate arrhythmia in a variety of different ventricular cardiomyopathy using non-invasive MRI based patient specific computational models. If you'd like to contact Plamen about his research, discuss an idea, or recommend an interesting paper - please email pnikolo2 (at) jhu (dot) edu.
