Changxin Lai
Graduate Student
Changxin is a Ph.D. candidate at Johns Hopkins University in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He completed his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in 2019.
Prior to joining the lab, Changxin worked at the Institute for Medical Imaging Technology at SJTU, conducting research on medical image processing and computational modeling of traumatic brain injury. In the Computational Cardiology Lab, he broadly explores using machine learning and mathematical techniques to solve medical problems in cardiac electrophysiology. His current research focuses on predicting ventricular arrhythmias in patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
Outside of research, he enjoys watching movies and trying new recipes. Please feel free to contact Changxin via email (clai29 at jh dot edu) for more information about his research and the lab.
